This Voice

This Voice (1) first appeared as an audio-visual work commissioned for Humber Mouth - Hull Literature Festival in summer 2021. A companion piece, This Voice (2) was first shown at the 2020 instalment of Haus Wien in Vienna as part of the installation Praxis. The text for This Voice (1) has subsequently appeared in the poetry journal The North, issue 68. The text for This Voice (2) has subsequently appeared in the collection Praxis (Dostoyevsky Wannabe, 2021). 

Andrew Hodgson


Andrew Hodgson is author of the novels Reperfusion (2012) and Mnemic Symbols (2019), and the monograph The Post-War Experimental Novel (2019). He is editor of the art writing collections Paris (2019) and Praxis (2021). His epistolary narrative book project New Forms of Art and Contagious Mental Illness is due to appear with the Los Angeles based publisher New Documents at the start of 2023. He has presented creative and critical work and participated in art exhibitions in France, UK, Ireland, US, Czechia, and Austria. He is Lecturer in Humanities in English at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales, Paris.
